Usually I would think you would talk about yourself & who you are, but how can you do that when you don't even know who you actually are?
Everyone says 'just be true to you, don't listen to what anyone else has to say', but how do you know if you're being true to yourself if you don't even know what that means?
As a kid you felt like you could conquer the world, now that you've grown up you've realized that it is nothing what you thought it would be and neither have I. Growing up is hard when there are people everywhere telling you what to do, who to become, what you have to become to be successful. If you choose to follow and allow those people to tell you what to do you have no longer been trying to find yourself, instead you have started becoming someone you aren't meant to be.
I have had lots of people tell me that I need to be something I am not even sure I want to be when I grow up. They tell me that I will be this wonderful person that has so much knowledge, and will do well in my life, but how can I even picture something that won't happen for another 5 years when I cant even picture what tomorrow will look like for me?
How do you even introduce yourself when you don't even know where to begin, or 'what makes you you'?
Some good questions.
ReplyDeleteSo here's my advice. Don't worry about 5 years from now. Well, do, but don't worry too much about it. Just focus on today, and maybe yesterday a little, and maybe tomorrow a little. But that's it.
Anything else will drive you crazy. WHat will be will be.
